Reston Strong partnered with the amazing We Are Lasagna Love team for our. 2nd Annual Holiday Meals at Lake Anne Fellowship House, a low income senior living facility in reston. What an amazing start to the holiday weekend.. nearly 50plus volunteers came together to make magic happen. Thank you Eileen Goldstein Scherzinger with Lasagna Love!

The beautiful spread included:

• Cocktail shrimp

• Basil tomato mozzarella skewers

• Bread rolls

• Focaccia

• Croissants

• Salad

• Meat Lasagna

• Vegetarian Lasagna

• Beautiful spread of cookies, pies and cinnamon pull aparts filled the dessert display.

Almost all of the food was home cooked by lasagna loves amazing team of volunteers.

Our combined crew of volunteers pulled off a flawless execution - everything from curbside lasagna drop offs, monitoring deliveries, to working their stations, and finally cleaning up & helping us pack enough food for all our restonstrong drop offs to our NEIGHBORS IN TENTS CAMPAIGN and Reston District Police Station Fairfax County. The volunteer crew even included some Reston VA Foodies 😊😊😊

Our sweetest Be Kind and Rise partners dropped off handmade cards for all the 287 residents.

Such a rewarding experience.. it truly feeds the soul to work alongside such kind and inspiring folks.
